Project summary
This project aimed to add to the road safety profession’s understanding of impulsivity, its role in safe road user behaviour and possible counter-measures.
It researched, developed, delivered and evaluated a classroom-based educational intervention for 15-24 year-olds with the following learning aims: to improve the participant’s abilities to make safe road safety related decisions through the development of the self–regulatory skills related to impulsiveness.
