Project summary

Phase 1 of the study investigated the safety of private e-scooters and provided recommendations to address safety concerns. See the video above outlining the findings and download the report of the study by clicking the green button below.

Phase 2 investigated the extent of under-reporting of e-scooter casualties and ways in which this could be improved, critiqued the DfT evaluation report of the e-scooter trial rental schemes and responded to the Government’s proposed Transport Bill.
