Project summary

This project aims to understand the impact widespread rural speed limit reductions have on safety and perceptions of safety amongst those using the roads. The outcome will be relevant to other UK road authorities who are considering rural speed limit reductions. The project will look at a range of measures including speed compliance, casualty rates, speed, traffic flow and public perceptions.
